“Staying at this hotel seems to be a gamble based on room allocation. While the staff's helpfulness is consistently noted, the potential for noise disturbances, especially in basement rooms, appears to significantly impact the experience. The condition of the rooms themselves-broken fixtures, insecure doors, and water damage-suggests that a restful stay might be more hope than expectation.”

Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests frequently highlight the hotel's superb location, just a short walk from King's Cross/St Pancras stations, with convenient access to public transport and about 35-40 minutes walk to Covent Garden and Leicester Square. The provision of tea and coffee making facilities and the availability of an iron are appreciated. Some guests have found the rooms to be on the smaller side, but they are generally considered clean and comfortable for a short stay; the decent shower with high pressure is a plus, as is the inclusion of a fridge in the room. The quiet surroundings in the Camden area also contribute to a pleasant experience.
